Spring in January?

So, ok when we moved to Arizona in August it was 120 degrees out side. A little hot maybe, however, it is January and my roses in my back yard are in full bloom and spring is in the air.

I AM SO CONFUSED! I am so use to the snow, then warm, then snow for the spring time and not only that, spring comes in April. It has been so much fun getting used to the different "seasons" and I can't wait until it get to be even warmer!

With the seasons changing, everyone has a case of the sniffles and allergies, EXCEPT Rob and Dax, unfortunately, they have bronchitis. Which means at bed time I have Rob coughing in one ear and Dax in the other!!! They are both on meds, so they are feeling a bit better. WELL GUESS WHAT, woke up this morning to a coughing attack myself :S and Ale has been telling me that he throat hurts... I think that it is our turn now :( .

I hate being sick and especially here! Wish us luck!

BFF's Forever!

This weekend, me and the family had some of the most wonderful friends come and stay the weekend. We had such a relaxing time. We got to catch up on "the good 'ol times" and not to mention the time we spent talking about the changes that has happened since the family has moved.

Melanie brought her two boys down and I got to see my Anthony and meet my new snuggle bug Sam! Her boys were so cute and I got to get the newborn baby symptoms out.

Brittney was such a great sport with all the little kids running around and the million trips to Walmart. It was so great to see her!

All in all it was a very fun, relaxing weekend. The girls have now met all of the Kirsling family and I am sure that I am in for a big treat when I actually hear their interpretation.

I love and miss them already. It makes me kind of home sick, but I know that we are here for a reason. They know that too.

The New Year!

Well, well, here we are in 2009! Who would have thought in a million years that me and the fam would be spending 2009 in Arizona?
We are settled in now and have started our new life here.
Anthony is doing well in school and has made some friends in the neighborhood.
Ale is doing well in school also, she has started playing in band and has decided that she doesn't like it... What do you do?
Gracie LOVES Kindergarten. She goes a full day along with the older kids and is learning so much!
Dax... well... Dax is in his terrific twos! He loves going to the daycare and rules the nest. He also lets everyone know that he is the boss.
Robert is really enjoying working with my brother and is learning more and more about being a grease monkey everyday.
As for me, I am almost healed from my surgery in November. I started a new job at an OB/GYN office. I am the Lab tech there and love it!
So as you all can tell, we are doing fine. We are expecting some fun visitors this month. We miss our family and friends in Utah very much. There isn't a day that goes by that you are not on our minds.
